Fluorescent bulbs have been around for a great deal of time. Once the benefits/uses were discovered by early fish keepers, the sky was the limit in terms of application.

Popular marine formats include NO, VHO, PC and T5. This type of light bulb excels at lighting the fish only marine aquarium and even soft coral/LPS reef aquariums. Efficiency per watt is the hallmark of a quality fluorescent bulb.

 Using a 5 band phosphorous design Aqua Science will produce an extremely bright light that is unmatched by other brands.

The light output will remain stable at the advertised color temperatures until the end of bulbs life.

Long life, high output & dimmable without the flickering effect other brands experience is what you can expect from an Aqua Science Bulb 

15000k

With a spectrum of approximately 15,000 kelvins, AquaPerfekt's "Aqua Science Special" T5 flourescent bulb produces a bright, white light with little heat output.

17500k

With a luminosity of approximately 17,500 kelvins, the "Aqua Science Duo" T5 is roughly half way between 15,000 and 22,000 kelvins. Thanks to the various possible combinations, almost all imaginable underwater worlds can be provided with the right light spectrum. 

22000k

The "Aqua Science Blue" T5 from AquaPerfekt is also a gas discharge lamp. It provides light with a spectrum of apprroximately 22,000 kelvins.

Fiji Purple

Novel T5 high performance tube with blue-red spectrum.
Stony corals enhance colors after 14-20 days especially in pink, purple and red. Growth of algae will not be increased.
